Welcome to Deaf Writers2022 is when we look at another dimension of being a Deaf Writer. A team of nine individuals from all walks of life are participating. They range widely in age, there is a nice mix of genders, and they come from near and far. But what they all have in common is a shared love for storytelling.

Deaf Writers acknowledge that we are meeting in the traditional Country of the Kaurna people of the Adelaide Plains and pay respect to Elders' past and present.
We recognise and respect their cultural heritage, beliefs and relationship with the land. We acknowledge that they are of continuing importance to the Kaurna people living today. And we also extend that respect to other Aboriginal Language Groups and other First Nations. |
